Dancing with others fills me with happiness. When I studied ballet in Russia at age 12, ○○○○○○○○ from all over the world gathered there, and since we couldn’t communicate, I felt a bit lonely at first. But we supported and cooperated with one another, and we were able to unite as one. The kindness and presence of the adults who guided us are the qualities I aspire to embody in the future. I experience this every day in the baton twirling club: respecting one another, learning from each other’s strengths, and lifting each other up creates a tremendous power.
