Error Message: "Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error (C00D11CD)"

This is the common message/ID of the error which Windows Media Player cannot specify the reason. The reason of the error is really varied, and hard to be specified. Here are some considerable cases. Please follow each one of them.

・Invalid DRM licenese data could causes this error.
Please initialize DRM license once, and try again.

・If this error is happened only on the streaming playback, you should consider the communication protocol of the player. By default, the protocol is selected automatically. You can fix it and see the condtion.
On Windows Media Player, select Tools -> Options.
On the Option window, select Network tab.
On Streaming Protocol section, uncheck UDP, TCP and HTTP.
Then check only one of them (e.g. HTTP only), hit OK and try to play.
