A certain idol group is currently hugely popular in Akihabara. While most fans seem to be male, there are actually hidden female fans too. One of them is Kokone-chan. She hates being seen as a so-called "otaku" and says she can't even come out to her friends. She also can't go to the live shows, suffocating from the male fans' fervor. All she can do is buy up merchandise or secretly cosplay at home. They met on an online idol message board. While exchanging such venting messages, it led to "How about I take photos of your cosplay?" and that's how their private photo meetup came about. Pretending to be an idol fan, targeting girls like this... and it actually works sometimes.
